Packing List for Hysterectomy Hospital Stay

Today after work, I will go to hospital for my lab work. I will have a hysterectomy on Monday.

After the abdominal hysterectomy surgery, I will stay in the hospital for two days.

My Packing list for the hospital:

My son's cute Disney luggage which always brings smile to my face.
Cell phone and charger
Laptop computer
3 over sized cotton under pants
1 over sized dress (could be worn as night gown or coming home dress)
1 over size front button cotton shirt
1 soft silk jacket/trench (could be worn over the hospital gown for daily 5 minutes walk, it will cover hospital gown's back opening)
1 pair of sandals
1 pair of cotton socks
Pads
Tooth brush, tooth paste
Hair brush & hair band
Facial serum and tinted moisturizer
Blush & bronze two in one pack
Lipstick and lip bum
1 pair of Glasses
Prescription medications.


What  I am not going to bring:
Nighties and night gowns: I like to use my regular cloths to replace that. The nurses and others will come in at all hours.
Eye liner and eye make up: It will get under my eyes.
Hair drier.

To Belt or Not to Belt

To belt or not to belt, this is the question-

I always start the day with a belt and ended taking off the belt. The question is not the belt, it's the tuck in or not to tuck in which actually changes the shape of the skirt.

Happy Mother Day !

Our church had a out door mother's day service at Monte Sano state park. Church prepared the flowers and the kids presented the flowers to their mother.

My son made the mother's day breakfast for me. I received Chanel Coco Mademoiselle fragrance as mother's day gift.  I've had Chanel No.5 for a long time. I bought it because it's reputation. It's the first time I use Coco Mademoiselle. I like it better than No. 5. No. 5 is a little too strong for me.

Outfit for Doctor Appointments

Today I had two doctor appointments,one with the dentist, another with the OB/GYN.
Later I wore the same outfit to a Mexican Restaurant. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

To Hide the Stomach

I've had uterus fibroid for over three years. It doesn't really bother me. My doctor and I have been monitored  it with ultra sound exams every 6-month. Now the uterus is about 5 months pregnant size. I have finally made the decision to have a hysterectomy operation. The operation date is May 19th.
I try to wear the outfit that hides my stomach and post the pictures that don't show my growing "bump". Sometimes it's not very successful.
